Family Furniture Sells Chairs to Benefit the NH Food Bank

On Tuesday, December 16th, members of the Harris Family visited the
NH Food Bank to present a check for $1,900, the first installment of
donations from their December fundraiser. For the past two weeks,
customers at Harris Family Furniture have received $200 off their
purchase of a recliner by donating $50 to the NH Food Bank. Harris
Family Furniture matches the donation to the Food Bank, doubling the
impact of each gift.
“This is a great way to help others while also giving yourself or
someone you love the gift of ultimate comfort this season,” said
Jack Harris.
With each $50 donation, the NH Food Bank can generate 200 meals for
those in need. Donations such as these will help the Food Bank
provide critical assistance to the Red Cross and emergency shelters
after the recent ice storm that tore through our state and left so
many without heat or electricity.
This fundraiser will continue until December 31st at Harris Family
Furniture stores, located in Plymouth, Laconia, and Chichester.

Fishing And Hunting Licenses
Submitted By Evelyn Pike
Town Clerk
New Hampshire Fishing and Hunting Licenses for 2009 are available at
the Chichester Town Clerk’s Office. Get yours today and be ready to
enjoy a full year of outdoor adventure, from winter ice fishing to
hunting next fall. Licenses are good for the 2009 calendar year, so
the sooner you get yours the more days of outdoor recreation you’ll
be able to enjoy.
Make getting outside a family affair in 2009! New Hampshire Fishing
and Hunting Licenses are a great deal for families. Youths under age
16 fish free. They can hunt some species without a license, but only
under the direct supervision of a licensed hunter over age 18.
Fishing and Hunting License fees directly support wildlife and
fisheries management and education.
