Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop
Submitted by
Carol Hendee
I was asking one of our leaders, Bonnie Champagne, about the
good things the Attic and Baby Threads had accomplished so far
this year. Bonnie directed me to our web site! You can either
google Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop-Chichester, NH, and scroll
down to Thrift Shop by Bonnie Champagne or direct to Baby
Threads of NH- click on Monthly Reports and you can see what has
been accomplished since the beginning of the year through April.
On the April page, you will see a picture of Bonnie on the
left and the Belmont Self Storage truck that is used to store
clothing that couldn’t be sold, but can be recycled. When full,
it is driven to the recycling operation in the north country.
Just a few of the things that were accomplished in April: 20
families assisted with clothing needs; 89 layette bags; 6
packages of baby diapers; 12 packages of adult diapers; 54 camp
kits (towel and hygiene kit for children going to camp). Please
keep your donations coming and the good work will continue. We
are open Tues., Wed., Thurs., 8-4, and Sat., 10-4 at 345 Suncook
Valley Hwy, next to Parker’s Roast Beef.
