Chichester Town Library Presentation: Rocket Mass Heater
The date of the Rocket Mass Heater Workshop has been changed to Wed.
May 21st. It will be at the Chichester Central School on Main St.
at 7:00.
Rocket Mass Heaters are stoves you can build right in your home,
workshop, or garage. They are built using a 55 gal. drum, stove
pipe and cob. Because cob, which is made from sand and clay, takes
so long to heat up, it holds its heat for a long time. These
heaters are extremely efficient. All the smoke is burnt up, and
nothing but water vapor comes out of the stove pipe.
Ray Dudley will bring pictures and share what he learned while
making his beautiful heater. Bring your questions.
On Sat. May 10th at 9:30 a.m. Bill Haskett will be presenting a
demonstration on the latest in printer technology, the 3 D Printer.
Have you been wondering how it works? Would you like to see one in
action? Do you want to know how to program it to make what you
want? Call the library to sign up as space is limited. 798-5613.

Letter
Blurb from the Board
We have some interesting updates from the Chichester School Board
and as a member of our community, we would love to have your input
and involvement!
After 16 years, our wonderful Principal, Pam Stiles
is leaving to become the Assistant Superintendent for the Kearsarge
School District. We have started the search for a new principal and
are accepting through Friday, applications from members of our
community who are interested in joining our search.
Please contact our superintendent Helene Bickford either by email
at:
[email protected] or by phone at:
603-485-5187 if you are interested in helping!
We are also exploring strategies to reduce our energy
costs at our school by increasing our energy efficiencies and
possibly utilizing PV panels to generate electrical power. If you
would like to join this exploratory group, please contact Ben Brown
either by email at:
[email protected] or
by phone at 798-4116.
Thank you for considering to join us in these two quests and
remember our next School Board meeting is on a special day and time,
Friday, May 16th at 4:30 PM at the school and members of the
community are ALWAYS welcome!
Respectfully yours,
Harold Losey, Ben Brown and Sally Kelly
