Gilmanton Women’s Club
The next meeting, of the Gilmanton Women’s Club, will be held at the
home of Diana McElwee, 258 Loon Pond Rd, Gilmanton, NH, on Monday
April 6, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.
The Gilmanton Women’s Club was formed in 1971, with a mission to
raise funds for the benefit of Gilmanton’s townspeople, and local
organizations.

GCC Food Pantry And Thrift Shop News
Spring has arrived and so has spring & summer clothing at the GCC
Thrift Shop. All during the month of April children’s clothing will
be 50% off.
Starting Monday, April 6, the Thrift Shop and Pantry will also be
open on Monday’s from 1 - 5 p.m.

Obituaries
Eli O. Stockwell
Eli O. Stockwell, 21, of Beechwood Drive, died on Saturday, March
21, 2015 at home.
Eli was born on November 15, 1993 in Concord the son of Andrew
Stockwell and Arlene Green. Eli was a lifelong resident of
Gilmanton.
Eli was a machinist for Baron Machine, Laconia for the past three
years.
Eli was a 2012 graduate of Gilford High School. He was Captain of
the football team his senior year and a member of the Lacrosse team.
Eli enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on “rusty” tractors with
his Dad. He coached football for the past three years for the
Gilford-Belmont team.
Survivors include his mother, Arlene Green, of Ctr. Barnstead; his
father, Andrew Stockwell, and his fiancé, Jane, of Gilmanton; two
brothers, Benjamin Stockwell, of Barnstead and Caleb Stockwell, of
Gilmanton; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Perkins, of Barnstead;
his paternal grandfather, Clifford Stockwell, and his wife, Jan, of
Gilmanton; his paternal grandmother, Frances Stockwell, of Belmont;
four aunts; an uncle; several great aunts,great uncles, cousins and
his Jack Russell dog, “Steve”.
A Funeral Service was held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the
Gilmanton Community Church at the Four Corners. Pastor of the Church
Chris Stevens officiated.
Burial will be held in the spring in Smith Meetinghouse Cemetery,
Gilmanton.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gilford-Belmont
