Thank You
The Gilmanton Community Church Food Pantry & Thrift Shop extends a
big THANK YOU and gratitude to Barnstead/Gilmanton Fire Explorers
Post 900/901 Calyn Drew, Julie Frenette, Trevor Smith, Sean Riley,
Ben Broska, Kyle Holmes, Ian Robbins, and Jacob Chesley, and Doug
Hayes, advisors for their assistance with our annual building clean
up and maintenance day.
Saturday, August 22nd was a hot and humid day, but that didn’t stop
this group of energetic and helpful volunteers from weeding, cutting
vines and brush, moving and bagging leaves, vines and weeds, weed
whacking, around the outside of our building as well as washing
shelves and sorting and hanging clothing in the Thrift Shop.
Gilmanton Community Church Volunteers and Trustees Pastor Chris
Stevens, Beth Lavin, Mike, Millette, Tom Reed, Roger Beaudet, Bill
Booth, Gary Shiminsky, Ralph Lavin, Chloe Schwartz, and Evelyn
Sanville were also in attendance. This dedicated group of
volunteers cut trees and brush, loaded and hauled brush to the dump,
installed siding and did some painting and general maintenance,
cleaned the Pantry and Thrift Shop as well as other numerous tasks.
Without the help of these dedicated volunteers, the Food Pantry &
Thrift Shop would not be able to function.
Again, Thank You to everyone involved.
