Thanks Robin Drown Fund Contributors
The Coe-Brown community and the Drown family of Northwood extend
their deepest appreciation and gratitude to everyone who contributed
to both the Robin Drown Scholarship Fund and the Coe-Brown Northwood
Academy Soccer Fund. Robin Drown, a member of the Coe-Brown
Northwood Academy class of 1976, lost her 10 year battle with cancer
in July 2010. She had been an active officer of the Coe-Brown
Northwood Academy Alumni Association and an ardent support of the
Academy’s soccer program. Robin’s son, Ryan, who graduated from
Coe-Brown in 2010, was a member of the boys’ varsity soccer team.
The scholarship in Robin’s name will benefit Coe-Brown students
interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. The Soccer
Fund fulfills one of Robin’s wishes: to put coverings over the
Academy’s soccer team benches. Two Coe-Brown Northwood Academy
students have taken this on as their senior project.
Donations
can be sent to the Robin Drown Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of
