Benefit Buffet Breakfast
Are you
looking for a fun morning out with your family? Would you like your
neighbors to cook breakfast for you? Then you’ll want to mark Saturday,
May 1, 2010, on your calendars!
Barnstead community members are sponsoring a buffet breakfast to benefit
our neighbor, Andy Houle. Andy has contributed much to Barnstead and the
surrounding towns whenever there is a need. He is a small business
owner, a Barnstead Selectman and a Deacon with the First Congregational
Church of Pittsfield. He’s donated refrigerators and freezers to the
Barnstead Food Pantry to help store our food before it’s distributed.
But most of all, Andy is a kindhearted good friend and well respected
member of our community. Whatever need he can help with, he’ll bend over
backwards to make it happen.
Recently,
Andy had a bad fall and shattered his lower leg. He’s had to have rods
inserted in his leg and faces a long recovery. This will obviously have
a negative effect on his income as he, like many others, has no medical
insurance. The breakfast is the community’s way to honor him by
providing a financial gift to help pay down these expenses.
We will
have a great menu of bacon, sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs, French
toast, fried potatoes, baked beans, juice and coffee.
The
breakfast will start at 8 a.m. and continue until 11 a.m. at the
Barnstead Parade Fire Station.
The
cost will be your generous donation!!
Please
come join us on May 1st and help us make it a great success!
