HAM & BEAN
SUPPER
The Suncook Valley Sno-Riders will be holding their 12th
Annual Ham and Bean Supper, Saturday, November 10, 2012. It will
take place at the Barnstead Parade Fire Station from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The meal will consist of ham, beans, coleslaw, roll, drink and dessert.
The cost is $8.00 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 6 to 12, children
5 and under is free. Stop by and enjoy a home cooked meal. If you
can not stay, we will have take-out containers available.
Halloween Fun At Barnstead Library!
Everyone
had a howling great time at the annual OFML Story Hour “Halloween Party
and Parade” on Wed. October 31, 2012. The children all looked adorable
in their various costumes and had a wonderful time showing them off to
all the patrons and staff in the library. They also enjoyed some
Halloween stories, decorating treat bags and “trick-or-treating” around
the library for lots of treats and fun surprises! We hope everyone had a
frightfully fun and safe Halloween.
We would like to remind everyone
that Story Hour is on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am at the Oscar Foss
Memorial Library. The children really enjoy the stories, crafts, snacks
and socialization with their peers. It is also a great chance for adults
to enjoy some peer interaction too! If you have any questions, please
