Barnstead Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series
Barnstead
Parks and Recreation is pleased to welcome Chris Bonoli and Her Blues
Monsters as part of the Summer Concert Series this Saturday, July 5,
2014 at 6:00 pm at the Barnstead Parade Grounds. Chris and the Blues
Monsters play a mix of familiar blues & rock with some original songs by
Chris. Chris is pleased to feature Steve Devine of Salem on lead guitar
and Gunnar Stohlberg who played with Chris for many years will be back
on bass guitar for this special show. In Chris’s words, “Steve and I
have tried for years to find an opportunity to play together, and we’ve
enjoyed rehearsing and getting ready for this show. He’s a fabulous
blues lead guitarist and I’m really pleased he can do this show for the
people of Barnstead this July 5th.” Chris will have CD’s available for
sale, “Out for the Night” and “I’ve Got Dreams”. “I’ve Got Dreams” was
recorded and produced in Derry, New Hampshire by Paul Girolamo and has
been selling extremely well since it’s release in 2011. “Out for the
Night” features blues with harmonica and saxophone, and “I’ve Got
Dreams” includes more acoustic and an assortment of special guests such
as Peter Parcheck on lead guitar, and Peter Leavenworth on pedal steel.
And to keep the theme close to Barnstead, the CD cover features Nate
Locke’s farm and tractor! Please come out and make this show a part of
your holiday weekend.
The
Congregational Church of North Barnstead will offer concessions for this
event. Please stop by and give them your support. As always, smoking,
alcohol and glass containers are prohibited on the Parade Grounds. See
you on Saturday!
