Letter
Happy Birthday, Avery
Honey,
It’s hard to believe that you’d be 12 years
old on March 16th. You used to stand in front of me to check and see how
big you were to me.
It’s sad to wonder what you’d be like. Would
you be tall like your cousins Hunter and Cody? Would you be a good
hunter like your Uncle Mitchell? I think you’d still love exploring the
woods with your dad. It didn’t matter what you did as long as you did it
with your dad.
I’m sure you would still be looking after me.
One time we heard something in the woods and you said, “Grammy, stand
behind me.” When the deck had ice on it, you’d say, “Grammy, hold my
hand.” I sure miss you.
Love,
Grammy
Happy Birthday.
Love, Daddy
