Happy Birthday to Timothy Harris on May 1st.
Chichester Grange will hold its Annual Awards Night on Wednesday,
May 15, at 7 p.m. in the Town/Grange Hall. Each year Chichester
Grange recognizes a community citizen, a postal worker, an educator,
an outstanding youth, and representatives from the police and fire
departments. The public is invited to attend the Awards Night and
thank those who serve Chichester and the surrounding communities.
Refreshments will be served.
Come to the Grange Penny Sale on Saturday morning, May 18, at the
Grange/Town Hall. A Penny Sale is a cross between a yard sale and a
raffle. Buy a sheet of tickets and put the numbers on items you
would like to win. Numbers will be drawn starting at 11:30. Baked
goods will be sold for your snacking pleasure while you wait to see
what you will bring home.
Chichester’s Old Home Day will be August 17. This year’s theme is
“Happy Birthday Carpenter Park” in celebration of the donation the
land for the park 50 years ago in 1963. Would you like exhibit or
vendor space at the Park on Old Home Day? Contact Carol
Frekey-Harkness at 798-5443.

We want to thank a company called Towelettes Inc. for donating many
boxes of towelettes (hand wipes) for the homeless. We were able to
send boxes to Laconia for Baby Threads to pass out and multiple
boxes to the Friendly Kitchen in Concord.
If you are doing your spring cleaning, think about donating your
“never to be used again” small items to a charity-such as the Attic,
which supports Baby Threads of NH, a 501 c3-your donations are tax
deductible-just ask for a form when you drop off your items.
A request has come in for a bike for a young girl. We have
reuseable bags for groceries, etc. for $.25 ea. We also have bags
of rags for $.50. We could use donations of AA & AAA batteries for
the toys we receive. We are on Rte 28, 5 mi. north of the Epsom
