Two Important Dates
On Tuesday, October 13th
@ 5:30 at the school, there will be a public hearing regarding using
trust funds to defray part of the costs of a new heating system. A
brief board meeting will follow the hearing.
On Monday, October 26th @
5:30 there will be the regularly scheduled October Board Meeting.
In addition to the regular agenda, this will be the first meeting
of the budget season and as always all are invited and encouraged to
attend to provide their input and insights.
Want to Join The School Budget
Advisory Committee?
Because of input from
members of our community, your School Board is piloting a Budget
Advisory Committee for this budget season. We are looking for 7
registered Chichester voters to review our budget from their own
perspectives! Ideally we’ll have at least one person
from these categories: member of the Town Advisory Budget
Committee, current parent of a child in the school, someone who does
not have a child currently in the school and someone with budgetary
experience. If you are interested please contact Sally Kelly either
at [email protected] or 798-5806
for further information. You can also get further information at
the school’s web site. All members are asked to attend all of our
monthly meetings prior to the March meeting. Members will vote and
provide their recommendations on all school warrant articles with
the results provided at the town meetings in March.
