More thank yous must go out to people that dropped off supplies for
the backpacks and monetary donations. This year, we have had the
highest number of signups, 49 so far! We will also have a box of
pens, rulers, etc. that have been gently used but are still good
that kids can pick from.
Our greeting cards are selling nicely at 2/25˘ and gift bags,
wrapping paper, and party supplies are very inexpensive.
We are at 345 Suncook Valley Hgwy, Chichester (next to Parker’s)
Mon. 8-12; Tues. & Thurs. 8-4; Wed. 11-4 & Sat. 10-4. If you have a
suggestion as to how winter hours could serve you better, let us
know. 247-7191.

Book Club meets tomorrow, September 3rd, at noon to discuss Moloka’l
by Alan Brennert. The selection for September is The Memory of
Running, by Ron McLarty. Members of the group and others who are
interested can pick up a copy at the Library. Bring your lunch and
join the group!
Labor Day is Monday, September 7th. The Library will be closed and
the Down Cellar Poets will not be meeting. Have a safe holiday
weekend, as we remember the foundation of the prosperity of this
nation—its workers.
Check in on our Face Book page for up-to-date information and/or
