Chichester Town Library News

Book Club is scheduled to meet at noon tomorrow, July 7th.

This Saturday (July 9th), participants of the Summer Reading Program (SRP) who have signed up will meet at the Chichester Firehouse at 9:30 a.m. for “Pancake Science.”  If there is a chef or scientist in the making, or just a curious youngster, this should be a tasty and fun session.

Next week on Wednesday (July 13th) at 3:30 p.m., Chichester’s own Alex Braley will share some magician’s tricks and talk about how to learn the craft.  This is also part of the SRP.

Another fun activity, although not part of the SRP, will be held on July 11th, at 3:00 p.m.--Clay Dough Fun!  It is for all ages and no sign up is required.  The Clay Dough will be furnished.

The Library Trustees will meet on July 11th at 6 p.m.  This is an open meeting and will be followed by a meeting of the Lovers of the Chichester Library (LOCL) at 7 p.m.  The LOCL welcomes any and all who want to help promote the mission and programs of the Library.

Mark your calendars for the next, formal Down Under Bookstore sale on Saturday, July 18th, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.  There are always “new” books to choose from.
