Letter
Greetings Chichester Central School
Families,
August has arrived and the start of school will be approaching soon.
Our school has been receiving a thorough cleaning, our staff has
been taking advantage of professional learning, and supplies are
getting in order to start the next school year. The first day
of school for all K-8 students is Wednesday, August 31. Please
see our bus schedule listed below and remember to allow for a 10
minute cushion the first few weeks of school as our bus drivers and
families are getting used to the route. Parent drop off
time at school is between 8 AM and 8:20 AM and pick-up at the end of
the day begins at 2:40 PM.
All students have been challenged to participate in an IXL Summer
Math Challenge and all 5th-8th grade students are assigned summer
reading books and projects. Please visit our school website
for more information about both of these summer assignments.
Class letters from teachers have been mailed in the past week; if
you have not received yours and need a copy or to view the supply
list for your child’s classroom, information can be found by
visiting our school website. Also posted on our website is a
survey for parents to complete regarding our school’s Wellness
Policy. We encourage all families to participate in providing
us some feedback.
We are looking forward to a great year
ahead of working collaboratively together, challenging each student,
and enriching our student’s education as we follow our school motto:
Learning Today for Our Tomorrow.
