The Socks for Seniors
Boxes have been placed at the Chichester Library and The Out Of Your
Attic Thrift Shop for this year’s December sock collection.
Chichester Grange is again sponsoring this project. Buy one or more
pairs of warm and colorful socks (not necessarily Christmas themed)
and place them in a collection box between now and December 20. The
socks will be given to folks in area nursing homes at Christmas.
Chichester Grange will
meet on Wednesday, December 20. At 7 p.m. upstairs in the Grange
Hall.

Thrift Shop News
Submitted By Carol Hendee
For December, The Attic
will be changing the 1/2 price day sale. Everything 1/2 price will
be Thursday, Dec. 14th, so all can take advantage of last minute
Christmas shopping. There will also be a Special BAG SALE Day,
Tuesday, Dec. 26th (we will be closed Mon. for Christmas). The bag
sale will be for everything in the shop for Fill-A-Bag for $5.00 a
bag.
The Attic is a collection
spot for “Socks For Seniors.” The nice warm socks will be
donated to the Liberty House for Veterans in Manchester, as
well as area assisted living facilities, then the “no 1/2
price on the 28th.”
If you are coming from
Pittsfield or Barnstead, Rte 28 - right after the Town line for
Chichester, look for the grey plaza on the right. Mon. 8-12;
