Historical Calendar To
Benefit Chichester Food Pantry
“Chichester Then and
Now,” a 2018 calendar, has been designed by the Chichester Photo
Group, in cooperation with the Chichester Historical Society. The
calendar is collectable, as it features archival photographs and a
current picture, where possible, of both public and private sites in
town. The photos are accompanied by rich historical commentary from
the Historical Society’s research.
The cost of the calendar
is $20, with all profits from their sales to be donated to the
Chichester Food Pantry. The Chichester Library, partnering with the
Photo Group, will display a sample calendar and accept orders and
checks until Saturday, November 4, during regular library hours.
The Town Office at the Grange Hall on Main Street and the
Chichester Central School will also have samples and order forms.
It is hoped that local
residents will consider supporting the food pantry by purchasing
this collectible calendar. If there are questions, please call
either Barbara Sinclair Pappas at 798-3410 or Gail Laker-Phelps at
798-5394.
