Chichester Grange will be holding a Penny Sale at the Chichester Town/Grange Hall on Saturday, February 3.  Tickets will go on sale at 10:30 and numbers will be drawn at 1 p.m. A soup lunch will be available for purchase from 11:30 to 12:30. A Grange penny sale is a cross between a yard sale and a raffle. Come and see what fun it can be.

Chichester Town Library News

Need some guidance to accomplish your resolutions?  The library has numerous self-help books, both upstairs and downstairs in the Down Under Used Books area to help you reach your goals.

The Knitting Circle is just the place to be on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. to learn a new skill, hone one that you used to do, chat with fellow Townspeople and generally have a wonderful time.  Come see if it fits your style.

The Preschool Story and Craft “Hour” meets tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.  It’s a time of adventure, learning and fun for the kids.  They have play time, story time, activity time and even a snack!  Sound pretty good to you? Bring your little ones and find out.

Looking for a particular book or author and you don’t see it on the shelves?  Be sure to ask a member of the library staff.  It may be loaned out at the time, in which case they can reserve it for you; or, it may be available through the interlibrary loan program.

The Poetry Society of NH is meeting on Saturday morning, January 27th, from 10-noon.  Many of the Chichester Down Under Poetry group belong to the Society and a cooperative relationship has continued over the years.
