The Pepper Steak Community Supper that had to be cancelled on April 11 has been moved to April 18. Come to the Chichester United Methodist Parish Hall at 6 pm. and enjoy a good meal with friends and neighbors. A donation toward the cost of future suppers is welcome although not required. The Community Suppers will be back on their regular schedule on April 25 with Herb Chicken on the menu.

The volunteers have been working hard to change from winter to spring merchandise. The capris are out and summer tops and sneakers and sandals!  We do have some sweatshirts for the chilly evenings.

 

Mother’s Day items have also appeared (don’t forget Grandma, too).  We have some clay flower pots, ready for painting, to make for a special gift.

Chichester Town Library News

 

Don’t forget the Rich Araldi concert tonight at the Town Hall at 7 p.m.  This is a family friendly event, with light refreshments and is at no cost to the public.  Rich will be playing the vibraphone for our pleasure.

 

The PJ Mask events are a wonderful activity for the younger population and include workbooks for the kids and lots of activities.  The fourth event will be on Monday, April 23rd at 6 p.m., when there will be a costume night at the library.  There will even be prizes!

 

The Knitting Circle will meet this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.  

 

Pre-school Story and Crafts meets tomorrow, Thursday the 12th, at 10:30 a.m.  This is such a great activity for young ones, as they enjoy storytelling and activities.  Snacks are also included.  There will be no Pre-school Story Hour next week, because of school vacation.

 

The Down Cellar Writers’ Group will also meet on Monday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. 

 

There are a couple of special events planned during the upcoming school vacation.  On Wednesday, the 25th, there will be a Movie Night at 6 p.m., where the movie “Ferdinand” will be shown.  Popcorn will also be available.

 

Then, on Thursday the 26th at 10:30, Lego Time has been included on the calendar for the kids.
