discarded needles do not belong in the mixed paper, the plastic OR
any of the recycle bins. This is very dangerous for the staff
to discover used needles “hidden” in the recyclables. ALSO,
soiled personal hygiene products should be disposed of in the trash.

Dog licenses were due
April 30. If your dog is not licensed by June 1st, a late fee
will be added on June 20th Civil Forfeiture will be issued when
additional fee will be added. Please let the Town Clerk know if you
no longer have your dog. Make sure your dog’s rabies shots
are up to date and have rabies information available for Town Clerk.
The Chichester Heritage
Commission will hold its May meeting on Thursday, May 17th, at the
Town Library, 161 Main Street at 7 p.m. Meetings are open to the

The Little Book “Houses”
are officially open at Carpenter Park and at the Grange/Town Hall
parking lot. “Take a Book, Leave a Book” is the theme of the Little

Chichester Grange with
the help of the Historical Society will be holding a Memorial Day
program on Wednesday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Grange/Town Hall.
Henry Sanborn who served in the Civil War, will be the featured
historical figure. The program is being held on the “traditional”
Memorial Day so as not to interfere with other celebrations in the

Supper dates left in this season. May 23 will be Santa Fe Chicken
and May 30th will be a Cookout with hamburgers and hot dogs. The
Community Suppers take place at the Parish Hall of the Chichester
United Methodist Church. They are free and open to the public.

The Knitting Circle will
be meeting this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
The Pre-school Story Hour
will meet tomorrow, May 17th, at the library at 10:30 a.m.
Thanks to the Fire Department for bringing the ambulance to the
Grange last week to show the kids.
This Friday, the 18th at
6 p.m, is a class on essential oils by Sarah Miner. Sarah will
be educating us on safe usage and enjoyment. Participants will
be making and taking Energy, Sleep or Headache rollers. There
will also be a raffle for a “Bug-B-Gone” spray. We already
have a lot of interest in this presentation, so please contact the

monthly meeting of the Lovers of the Chichester Library. If

meeting for May 21st at 6:30 p.m.

re-scheduled their meeting to May 21st at 7 p.m.
Next Tuesday, May 22nd,
from 6-7:30 p.m., an evening of Bingo evening with prizes and snacks
