REMINDER
The Chichester Central
School School Board is looking to fill 2 to 4 vacancies on the
Voluntary School Budget Advisory Group. The objective of the group
is to review and analyze the upcoming school budget and to present
their observation, suggestions and recommendations to the school
board.
This group is made up of
registered voters from the town of Chichester. Members will attend
School Board meetings from October - March in order to hear all
pertinent details as the budget develops.

Chicken Parmesan will be
featured on Wednesday, September 12, at the Free Community Supper at
the Chichester United Methodist Parish Hall, 45 Main Street. Come at
6 p.m. for a good hot meal. Donations are gratefully accepted and
used toward the cost of future suppers. Everyone is welcome to
attend.
Chichester Grange will
meet on Wednesday, September 19, at 6 p.m. upstairs in the Grange
Hall.

Let’s look at some things
in the store you might not have noticed- Curtains and valances
- this week only 50˘ each; sport bags, duffel bags, 50˘ each;
all baby clothes and toys in the 3rd room 25˘ each!
All of these items can be
found in the 3rd room, along with ladies dresses, puzzles and games,
and seasonal items on the main shelving unit.

Chichester Town Library News
The Knitting Circle will
be meeting this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. under the facilitation of
Sharon Pinckney. Bring your challenges and she will help you
make light work of them!
The Evening Book Club
will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m. to discuss The Glass Castle by
Jeannette Walls. Next month’s selection is Beautiful Ruins by
Jess Walters.
Preschool Story and Craft
Hour starts back up tomorrow, September 13th, at 10:45 a.m.
This is a tried and true successful program for the younger set to
become engaged with what the Library has to offer.
There will be a program
presented by the New Hampshire Federal Credit Union entitled “Home
Buying 101,” on Monday, September 17th, from 6-8 p.m. at the
Library. There is no cost to attend and refreshments will be
served. This is an educational program and is not intended to
sell any type of mortgage product. Please sign up so that the
appropriate refreshments may be provided.
The Lovers of the
Chichester Library will also be meeting on Monday, September 17th,
at 7 p.m.
A new activity has
started on Tuesday mornings throughout September at the library.
Come and enjoy “Coloring & Coffee” (and conversation) from
10:30-11:30 a.m. Tea will also be available, along with
doughnuts/snacks. Coloring sheets will be provided by the
Library.
