Multi-use Trail Maintenance In Full Swing For The Fort Mountain Trail Winders

A small group of volunteers has been diligently working on clearing and expanding Epsom’s recreational trails. Over the summer, these trails are enjoyed by hikers, mountain bikers, horse-back riders and all-terrain vehicle users (where permitted). Next winter, the trails will be groomed for use by snowmobilers, cross country skiers and snowshoers.

The Club has applied for assistance through the Grant-in-Aid program to fix several bridges on the trails. Additional sponsorships will be needed to purchase building materials. Can you help?

The next Trail Maintenance crew will be leaving from Brown’s Rod Shop at 1628 Dover Road in Epsom at 8:00 AM on Saturday, May 30th. If you are interested in joining the crew, sponsoring a bridge or would like more information, please call Matt at 736-9975.

On June 4th, the Club will participate in Epsom’s Town Wide Yard Sale to raise money for building supplies. If you have items that you would like to donate, please contact Chris at 736-8324.

Fort Mountain Trail Winders is a non-profit organization responsible for maintaining the snowmobile trail system in Epsom.
