The Adult Summer Reading program sign-ups have begun at the Epsom Public Library.  The ASRP runs from July 5 to August 22.  Stop by the front desk to sign up and pick up a booklet that lists the programs planned for summer.  You are not required to read a particular number of books but each time you read one, fill out a coupon and place it in the jar at the front desk for the prize drawings that will be held in August.

A look ahead to  the first program scheduled for Tuesday, July10 at 7:00 PM -  “Tales for  the Home of  the World’s Worst Weather.”  Will Broussard from the Mount Washington Observatory will be here to tell about the day to day activities of the weather observers at the top of New England.

Epsom Food Pantry

Good afternoon.  Well, another busy week at the Pantry. Mr. and Mrs. McGuire donated a sizable donation of food to the Pantry.  Thank you so much.

Owen Thomas of Epsom, a student at Pembroke Academy, will be helping us at the Pantry. We were given tomato plants and other veggies from Sandy at the Natural Food Store and Owen planted them at the Library.  Thank you, Sandy.

Oh good news, we passed inspection with flying colors. All the thanks goes to our wonderful staff of workers.

When your veggies start coming in, don’t forget us. We look forward to them, and the members are so glad to get them, too.

Until next time,

Priscilla
