GYO Third Annual Golf Tournament
The Gilmanton Youth Organization (GYO) is hosting its third annual
golf tournament on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Den Brae Golf Course
in Sanbornton.
A shot-gun start will commence at 12:00 p.m. In addition to 18 holes
of golf played as a scramble 4-person team format, golfers will
enjoy lunch, dinner and a cart for $85.00/person.
Sponsorships are available and proceeds will be used by GYO for
uniforms, equipment, field maintenance and field improvements.

Gilmanton Women’s Club
Come and enjoy a wonderful Saturday morning at the Gilmanton 4th of
July Parade.
Be sure and make your first stop at the Gilmanton Women’s Club
booth, in front of the Gilmanton Corners Tavern Inn. We will be
offering on-site freshly made donuts, hot coffee, bottled water, and
a large array of scrumptious homemade pastries.
The Gilmanton Women’s Club was formed in 1971, with a mission to
raise funds for the benefit of Gilmanton’s townspeople, and local
organizations.

Gilmanton Food Pantry And Thrift Shop News & Events
YARD SALE! The GCC Food Pantry & Thrift shop will hold their annual
Yard Sale on Saturday, July 18th at the Gilmanton Community Church,
Route 140 in Gilmanton Iron Works, N. H from 8 am – 2 pm. Please
pay a visit, perhaps you will find that special item that you have
been seeking. All proceeds from the Yard Sale help to support the
Food Pantry. The Thrift Shop will also be open featuring a special
50% off sale for the day. We are looking forward to seeing you.
Collecting for the Yard Sale! If you have items for which you have
no further use that can be repurposed, please consider donating for
a good cause which in turn helps many in the community. You can
bring small items to the Food Pantry during open hours, or you can
call Beth Lavin at 267-1934 to make arrangements for large items.
All items need to be in good condition, still working with no
missing pieces or parts. We cannot accept electronics, media
including tapes, CD’s and books, or mattresses.
During the month of July the Thrift Shop will be featuring a special
sale of women’s slacks, jeans, shorts, or capri’s at $1.00 each.
A very special event is being planned for August 29. Save the date.

Shortcake Festival
On July 4, 2015 the Gilmanton Community Church Women’s Fellowship
will serve its “FAMOUS STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKES” at the Center Church
on Route 107 in Gilmanton, NH. Come in to purchase your delicious
shortcake. The price of the shortcakes will be $3.00 for a small or
$5.00 for a large. We will be serving from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
You won’t want to miss them, so come early!
