This
19th century Chinese silk kimono, is featured in a display of
vintage clothing worn by Gilmanton residents. The exibition is
at Old Town Hall in Gilmanton Iron Works on Saturday morning, July
29th, 10 am until noon.

Clothing Exhibit From Gilmanton Historical Society Museum
The
Gilmanton Historical Society’s collection of vintage clothing worn
by Gilmanton residents will be on display at Old Town Hall in
Gilmanton Iron Works on Saturday morning, July 29th from 10 am until
noon.
The collection, exclusively from Gilmanton families,
is comprised mainly of women’s and children’s clothing dating from
1830 to 1940. The display also includes several signature quilts
from the 19th century. These wonderful items have been donated to
the Society by Gilmanton residents and friends. The
exhibit is open to the public and there is no charge.
