Heather
Brown Recognized As An Unsung
Hero
As Part Of New Hampshire Children’s Trust Fund’s 2nd
Annual Unsung Hero Award Ceremony
On February 19, in honor of Parent Recognition Month, the
New Hampshire Children’s Trust Fund honored 28 parents at the 2nd Annual
Unsung Hero Award Ceremony. The event was held at the State House for
families, friends, and community members.
Governor
Lynch was in attendance to honor
the Unsung Hero Award recipients. The event is to honor parents from
around the State who have been role models to those around them and have
gone the extra mile to help their family, friends and communities.
The event honored a diverse group including single parents, dual parents,
grandparents, foster and adoptive parents. Recipients represented all ten
counties throughout the state. Parents ranged from those who have children
with severe emotional and/or physical handicaps to those who are active
advocates for their children and other children in the community.
Heather
Brown, of
Pittsfield, was one of the 28 parents honored
as an unsung hero.
Heather is a devoted mother of two,
always willing to lend a helping hand. Her compassion towards others, her
desire to help those in need, and her caring nature is why she is an unsung
hero.
