72Ambulance1 is now in service!  Pittsfield Fire Chief Gary Johnson (left) and EMT Jim Girard (right) with the Town’s new 2009 Braun ambulance.  Our thanks go to EMT Girard for his participation and thoroughness in seeing the ordering process of the ambulance from start to finish.  We are appreciative of the support of the community and look forward to utilizing this new piece of apparatus that replaces the original 1998 Ford Wheeled Coach ambulance that was put in service when the Town voted to purchase an ambulance and operate a full time Town Ambulance Service.
