Scouting For Food
On Saturday, November 12th, the Cub Scouts
of Pack 85 in Chichester joined together with scouts all over our
nation to participate in the annual Scouting for Food event. The
Chichester Cubs collected, sorted, and counted 3235 food items
throughout the morning. This is over 1000 more items than last year!
The food donated is distributed to many local food
banks including our Chichester food pantry to assist those right in
our own community.
Special thanks to our two Boy Scouts from Troop 30
in Loudon and to Donna Chagnon, our local food pantry coordinator,
for their helping hands. A big THANK YOU goes out to the Chichester
citizens for all your help in making this one of our most successful
Scouting for Food drives yet!
