Barnstead Parks & Recreation Summer Concert Series
Please
join us in welcoming the Dusty Gray Band back to the Barnstead
Summer Concert Series stage on Saturday, June 28. Since the age of
17, New Hampshire native Dusty Gray has been entertaining audiences
with his unique blend of blues, rock, soul and country music
influenced by such legendary artists as Johnny Cash, Otis Redding,
Greg Allman, Eric Clapman, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Ray Lamontagne. If
you were in attendance last year, you know that Dusty and his band
put on a high energy show that is not to be missed. Spread the word
and let’s give him an even bigger audience this time around. Bring
your lawn chair or blanket, and round up all your friends. The show
starts at 6:00 pm.
Concessions will be offered by Genevieve Michaud of Good Stuff Farm
in support of the WorkCampNE program, based in Litchfield, NH, for
which her daughters volunteer. These special kids pay to attend
summer camp sessions during which they work tirelessly on home
improvements and repairs for low-income and disabled families across
New England. Please stop by to purchase hot dogs and other goodies,
say hi to Genevieve and support this great group.
As a reminder, smoking, alcohol and glass containers are always
prohibited on the Parade Grounds. We hope to see you there!
