Friends of Oscar Foss Memorial Library Recognize Volunteers
In honor of National Friends of Libraries week, we celebrated
our volunteers who give so freely of their time and talents to
provide services and materials to our library. Our warmest
thanks and appreciation goes out to such a generous team.
Together we have accomplished much over the past year and we
look forward to the valuable achievements we will accomplish in
the coming year.
A delicious brunch was enjoyed by the
Friends along with Library Trustee members and Danielle Hinton,
Library Director. We are grateful to have their support
and guidance.
After brunch, we had our awards ceremony in which Danielle
shared some thoughts about the Friends and passed out gifts.
Then, Julie Marston, in fine fashion and glamour, presented the
“Golden Book” awards. These awards specifically represented each
individual’s strengths and contributions.
We are always looking for more Friends. Membership is
free. Sign up can be done online at oscarfoss.org or by stopping
in at the library. Hours are Mon: 2 pm -8 pm, Tues/Wed 10 am – 5
pm, Thurs 5 pm -8 pm, Fri 2 pm – 5 pm, and Sat 9 am – 12 pm.
