The Friends of the Oscar Foss Memorial Library is pleased to
announce the purchase of a Butterfly shaped reading bench for
the garden created by the Children’s Summer Reading Program.
Libraries need Friends who understood the value of their library
to the community, and also understood their library needs
community support. Friends benefit the library through expansion
of their resources by dollar gifts, volunteer and program
support, and through advocacy. The Friends of Oscar Foss
Memorial Library will hold their next meeting on August 15 at 7
pm, in the library. Adults may join the Friends by attending a
meeting, picking up a brochure at the library or any of our
events, or online at oscarfoss.org. Membership is $5.00 per
person.
