The Northwood Lake Watershed Association is looking for paid and
volunteer Lake Hosts for the 2016 season. Lake Hosts
inspect boats going into and out of Northwood Lake for invasive
species. If you enjoy meeting people, spending time
outside on the lake this is a wonderful job that gives back to
the community. Keeping new invasive species out of
Northwood is an important part the work the Watershed
Association is doing to maintain the quality of the lake.
Keeping the present invasive species from leaving the lake on a
boat trailer is good citizenship and helps to protect hundreds
of other New Hampshire lakes. Join us, as a volunteer or a
paid Lake Host. Training is provided. Call Jim
Vaillancourt at 942-5365 and help us maintain our wonderful
resource, Northwood Lake.

photo illustrations of barns around the state that are examples
of these eras of agricultural history.
